East Plano Bingo has opened it’s doors and is now offering a smoke free environment for their customers to play some good old Bingo. The Bingo Hall offers a very large playing area with lots of tables so it isn’t hard to find a seat. There isn’t a bad seat in the house, each seat is situated where you can see the and hear the bingo caller.
You can play Bingo for as little as $9 for a 9 face card or pay up to $35 to play on a computer. I opt to play on paper since it seems like much more authentic (and fun!). Be sure to bring cash, they don’t accept any type of cards but they do offer a few atm machines in case you forget. You will also need cash for all the side games and lottery that go on throughout the night.
East Plano Bingo offers food, don’t worry it wasn’t as bad as you think. I was extremely skeptical about buying anything from their concession area & snack bar but I decided to give it a try. I ordered a baked potato, a drink, a side of french fries and a bag of BBQ chips – I know, it’s all random. I wanted a few minutes and my order was ready. Guess how much it cost for all of that? Only $6.25, not too bad! Side note, they let you bring in your own food and drinks, so if this food doesn’t sound appetizing grab something else on the way!
East Plano Bingo is opened Monday through Saturday. Each night there is 2 sessions, the first one starting at 7:30pm and the second one starting at 9:00p.m., on Saturday there is an extra session that is at 10:30p.m. You are able to play as many sessions as you life. The payouts are very decent and the Bingo winner will win at least $250.00 and the top prize is $750.00!
Unfortunately, last time I went I didn’t win anything. This is great, cheap entertainment, and you have good odds of winning one of the games depending if you play the side games. Also, if you like to people watch – this is the place for you!
